I have recently posted a picture by Wilhelm Leibl in which he has painted the face of Victor Müller. But who was Victor Müller? Another brilliant german painter, of course. He was born in Frankfurt am Main, went to study arts in Paris, following the methods of Gustav Courbet and Thomas Couture but them returned to Germany, this time in München.
His works has a kind of poetic style that makes it unique. It evokes deep feelings and are ageless. By the first sight you can acutely fall in love with his pictures.
