At Städel Museum I could see my Ernst’s favorite artwork: “Nature at Dawn – 1936”. I particularly L-O-V-E the Surrealism and Max Ernst is undoubtedly one of my most appreciated painters. Some of his pictures makes me feel an undefined angst or a particularly relief, it is impossible to describe the sensations it gives me, it would be like describing an insane dream. I could wed a Surrealism picture, it talks to my soul!
There is a documentary about his life, made by Peter Schamoni, it is certainly in my “to-see” list, and also his museum “The Max-Ernst-Museum” in Brühl is top list in my “to-visit” list.
