I have never been a great fan of Max Beckmann, but since when I started to get to know more about his life I started getting interested in his works. Beckmann lived in poverty in a exile in Amsterdam for a long time, where he produced a lot of work, including several triptychs. There are a bundle of his works that I admire, including “The Actors” (1942), my favorite.
