Something about faith

“You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your strength” (Deuteronomy 6:5) If you love God with all your whole heart, you will find that ‘his commandments’ are not burdensome.

God never asks more of us than we can do. He knows our limitations. “God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out so that you may be able to endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).

“For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power” (Philippians 4:13).

For me it is extremely hard to write or talk about faith, for this is such a personal subject. I believe that this cannot be explained or taught, but felt. On the other hand, I am so grateful for those who showed me the importance of believing in something that I truly feel I should say something in this concern.

Loving God go beyond any explanations, and thus I can’t find words to describe it I may invite you to some reflections. Do you ever feel alone or with a strange sense of emptiness? A lack of strength may come to you but deeply inside you know you should endure. Even with all the existencial emptiness you know there is something. You simply know because it is innate to us humans. Our rational side sometimes try to deny it, but one cannot live in peace without finding God – or its spiritual essence.

Believing in God may sound like a burden to some, full of prejudice and other bad thoughts. This so called God has many interpretations, some of them causes us some trauma, referring to a evilish character, full of rage. That is so wrong. God is only love, God hates suffering hates to see us suffering, that’s not how it is supposed to be. He (should I say he?) only wishes our best, but sometimes for us to grow we may undergo bad circumstances.

But God’s tender. He knows how much we can bear, He knows exactly what we should go throw and everything is planned within his conformities. In hard times, when we feel groundless, lost and deceived we may count on something: on God’s love. It can be felt throw that amazing melody that makes us sing, throw that spring flower in the garden or even alone in your room praying. No one can describe you what this presence feels like, but one can encourage you to pursue that. You’ll never be the same.
